Catholic Family Services is a private, nonprofit, family service and child welfare agency. We can trace our roots back to 1903 when the Daughters of Charity established an orphanage in the East Lake Community of Birmingham, AL. From that orphanage, we have evolved to a multi-service agency that is very much part of the profession clinical communities in Birmingham and Huntsville. We pride ourselves that we serve people of all faiths and no one is ever refused services due to inability to pay our fees.
